If you’re heading to Walt Disney World in early 2026, you’ll want to take note of a small change coming to Magic Kingdom’s nighttime entertainment. Disney has confirmed that the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade will reduce its number of daily performances for part of January.

Since debuting in summer 2025, the Starlight Parade has quickly become a fan favorite. With glowing floats, familiar Disney characters, and an energetic soundtrack, it’s been lighting up Main Street, U.S.A. most nights with two showings. This gives guests more flexibility to plan their evening around rides, fireworks, and dining.

That schedule will shift shortly after the busy holiday season. From January 6 through January 8, 2026, the parade is scheduled to run only once per night, with a start time of 7:45 PM. On January 9 and 10, Disney plans to bring back a second showing, adding a later performance at 10:00 PM.

As of now, Disney hasn’t released full parade schedules beyond those dates. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the reduced schedule continues on select weekdays later in January, since this time of year typically sees lighter crowds at the parks.
