Updated 2025 concept art
Disney has updated the concept art for the upcoming Monsters, Inc. Land at Hollywood Studios, and the new designs are now displayed on the construction walls. The old Muppet Vision theater is still there, but it has been rebranded as “The Glob,” as indicated on the building’s marquee.
The Miss Piggy fountain remains part of the land but is being reimagined to fit the Monstropolis theme. The earlier idea of a Mike Wazowski “eye fountain” has been dropped.
2024 concept art
Buildings in the area now feature bright colors and playful monster-themed details. Some older signs, including those referencing the Laugh Floor, have been removed to create a more focused atmosphere.
There also appears to be a play area with shaded seating and ride props near the courtyard, adding to the immersive experience. The quiet unveiling of this updated artwork suggests the project is steadily moving forward, giving guests an early look at the thoughtfully designed new land.
