“Smellephants on Parade” is a free and family-friendly interactive experience in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom that invites guests to explore through the power of scent. This playful activity transforms the area near Dumbo the Flying Elephant into a whimsical scavenger hunt, where you help Timothy Q. Mouse track down his fragrant elephant friends. It’s a unique, multisensory adventure perfect for families looking to slow down and enjoy something new.
How It Works
To begin your scented adventure, visit the small ticket booth near Big Top Souvenirs to pick up a colorful map and a sheet of stickers. The map guides you through Storybook Circus, where eight brightly painted “Smellephant” statues are hidden throughout the area. Each elephant is themed to a circus treat and releases a special fragrance — like popcorn, cotton candy, churros, or caramel apples. As you explore, use your sense of smell to identify each scent and place the matching sticker on your map.
Finishing the Fun
Once you’ve found all eight Smellephants and completed your map, return to the booth to receive a “Top Nose Whiff-sistant” sticker as a fun reward. Sponsored by Scentsy, this activity combines Disney’s storytelling charm with delightful fragrances, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that’s both creative and relaxing.
